On the eve of the most watched event in the world, I am watching some highlights of Super Bowls past. I think I might have to invest in some DVD’s from NFL Films. They are simply amazing. Anyway, I was reminded of my favorite Super Bowl memory, and it actually took place before the game even kicked off. Of course, I’m talking about Whitney Houston’s rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner at Super Bowl XXV in 1991, with the first Gulf war as a backdrop.
Watching this always brings a tear to my eye.
