I’m pretty much a sucker for all Simon Pegg movies. This one was directed by David Schwimmer.

It’s rare that I actually LOL, but Will Ferrell slays me.
Below is the trailer for the upcoming comedy, Step Brothers, starring Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly, to be released on July 25th, 2008.

I have to say, this trailer started out with a pretty solid Christian message. Inspiring actually when you think about all the missionaries willing to put their lives on the line for others. But then it takes a Ramboesque turn and people start blowing up. Not that I wasn’t expecting or wanting that in a new Rambo, but I think the message of killing a bad guy to make you feel better in the middle of a somewhat Christian story line is going to confuse some people.

Jason turned me onto this new movie coming out in March. It’s called Reign Over Me starring Adam Sandler and Don Cheadle. It’s about a man coping with the loss of his family during the attacks of September 11th with help from his college roommate. Something about this movie makes my heart ache. I think I can resonate with this character. Not because I have lost my family, but because if I ever did I might truly lose my mind as well.
FYI, the song you hear toward the end is a Who cover by Pearl Jam called ‘Love Reign O’er Me.’

Coming to a theater near you June 2, 2006.
I have to admit, when I first saw this advertised on Dave’s blog I was skeptical. So skeptical, actually, that I didn’t even watch the trailer.
Dumb move.
With that said, I leave you with the trailer for Nacho Libre to watch over and over and over this weekend.
