I was chatting with a good friend the other day about conspiracy theories. Specifically the moon landings. Lately during midnight dog walks when the sky is clear I stare at the moon and wonder why we’ve never been back. Technology has certainly advanced tremendously in 30 years. Which naturally leads one to wonder if it ever happened right? Am I alone in this?
Do you think we ever actually landed on the moon?
How about these other famous conspiracy theories…
» The US government was behind 9/11
» JFK wasn’t shot by Lee Harvey Oswald
» Princess Diana was murdered
» Extraterrestrials are being hidden by our government
» Church’s fried chicken sterilizes black men
» Tupac, Biggie Smalls, and Elvis all live on an island somewhere

It’s hard not to sit in wonder when you see beautiful pictures of our expansive galaxy. I could literally spend days just flipping through the hubblesite.
Today I really enjoyed running into this one called the Heart Nebula.

Give a loved one a hug and kiss today, and let them know you love them.
But don’t forget about those friends of ours out there that can’t enjoy the chocolates today due to their bouts with ‘the betes’…

Inspired by the recent story on CNN.com regarding the Hubble Telescope, I couldn’t help but comment on the images we get from space. Mesmerizing is a good word for it. Reminds me of the Chris Tomlin concert last year when Louie Giglio took us through a great series of pictures while demonstrating how tiny we are in the scope of things, all the while God not only knows us by name, but knows how many hairs are on our heads. Amazing.
Take some time today and try to find God in your daily lives. Actually, you should make it a goal to constantly search for Him. You’d be amazed how close He really is, and how much you tend to miss when you don’t look around.
