There are the obvious things like scoring a baseball game and jump-starting a car, but did you know that we also must know how to feign interest and argue with a European without insulting soccer.

The Whipped Man

I used to love cracking the whip at buddies of mine that had to go to the opera while the rest of us were going to play basketball.

I like to think I’m the least whipped man in the world, but yesterday I was on the phone with my wife and came to a realization that Tonia basically controls all of the decision making process. Then I got in my car after work and the DJ’s were discussing what constitutes a whipped man. Even this morning on a different station the same subject came up. So naturally I ask you…

Women Bloggers

I have only 9 female bloggers on my extremely long blogroll. Why the discrepancy? Are there really more men blogging than women? Or is it that I can relate more to the male bloggers? Is it the same reason I read Men’s Health and not Good Housekeeping?

Who knows. I do know some of these blogs are in my Top 10 list. And I’ll tell you another thing, I would do next to anything to get my wife to start a blog. That woman is crazy funny and has stories coming out of her ears.

Monday Mashup

• Big week this week. David Crowder Bands new album, Remedy, comes out tomorrow. And the new season of The Office kicks off on Thursday with a full hour!

•  I picked up a couple of cheap CD’s on Saturday. A local bookstore was selling off their Demo CD’s and I got Leeland – Sound of Melodies, and Third Day -Chronology Volume Two. Both were in perfect condition and were $5 and $7 respectively.

•  It looks like in addition to seeing Mute Math in October, Jason and I will be heading down to Fort Wayne for some Lifehouse. That’s not bad for back-to-back weekends, eh?

• The other blog I collaborate on, AC180.com, has recently added a few contributers, as well as vamped up the overall look. Its a site for men to hang out, so men, stop by and say HI sometime.

**UPDATE** I forgot to mention this. It seemed like from the lack of comments that most didn’t watch this video. I encourage you to give it a shot. Make sure you see it through to the end as well. It’s simply incredible!

A Complete 180

Maybe you’ve noticed the new link on the blogroll. Maybe you haven’t. Regardless, I have joined a venture with a few other men. We have started a blog that will serve as a hub for testosterone oriented material.

Seriously though, this is a blog for men, by men. We will discuss things men want to discuss. Our goal for this project is to encourage other men, hoping they too will encounter the 180 we have all done in our lives. (click here for more about our mission statement.)
