Lust may be too strong a word. Maybe I should say wandering eye disease. Whatever you call it, I know I’m not alone in this as a man, but we seem to shy away from talking about it. We pretend it doesnt’ exist and that it’s not a problem, but it is. It’s so easy to fall into the trap. There is virtually no place you can go where sexual temptation is not available.
I honestly don’t believe sticking your head in the sand and avoiding all those things (you know like the internet, television, magazines…life) is going to help. It’s a deeper issue and it is only rectified with prayer. I know the times I find myself slipping, it’s almost always because my prayer life is lacking.
