I’m not sure if you’ve heard about the Jena Six story, but you will soon. It’s a sad story about the racism that still exists in our country—specifically in the deep South.
The part that digs at me the most is the non-action after the noose incident. In a world gone amuck with political correctness, it simply blows my mind that nothing resulted from that. “Just a prank,” was the response. Well, that “prank,” and your non-action, and the fact that there was actually a “white” tree to sit under in the first place, is the reason we’re in this mess to begin with. I think that school system and the District Attorney’s office should be on trial here. Not these kids.
As much as it unnerves me to agree with Al Sharpton on anything, read this story and do something about it. Fill out the form letter to the Governor at the very least. Let’s not let this result in something more criminal than what has already gone on!

I feel weird about this latest O.J. Simpson news. I really want to feel great that he is finally going to see some jail time after roaming around free for all these years. The problem is, I just can’t bring myself to say that he’s 100% guilty of murder. Sure most of the world believes he did it, but all we really know is what the media allowed us to know.
