Have you ever noticed how easy the movement of Jesus Christ is? It’s as simple as putting your time and effort into one person. Growing a relationship with them, opening your life up to them (and theirs to you), and sharing how Jesus changed your life. Then that person moves on and touches another person.
I’m not a scientist, but doesn’t it remind you of simple cell division? If you don’t think it works, just follow this little path that has always inspired me. Ron & Donna Dental just accepted a position as Ministry Leaders at NewSong. They started coming because their daughter and son-in-law (Ray & Sherry Drew) started attending. Ray & Sherry started attending because their neighbors (Chris & Kelly Nevins) asked them to come. Chris & Kelly started attending because their neighbors (Sam & Laura Walsh) invited them to come to church.
So, by the simple act of walking across the street, developing a relationship, and inviting someone to church, Sam & Laura created a strand of NewSong DNA that just keeps growing.
And that’s just one story, and not a complete one at that!
