Well folks, it’s that time again. Every year around this time I plant seeds in my face, stop shaving, and wait to see what happens. Last year I took it further than I’ve ever taken it. We even ended up getting our family portraits taken with me sporting facial hair (although you really can’t tell it’s there). It’s not that I can’t grow a beard, it’s just that I can’t grow a beard. Besides having light colored hair, it tends to be very cliquy and forms small groups. I’m trying to get them all to build some sort of community, but to date it’s been a pretty tough task.
This year I’ve decided to avoid the disaster that is the Mud Puppy mustache, and instead go for the amish-ish look. Hopefully that will solve the crying children problem from last year. So here’s to a bristly good time! I’ve even roped Jason into the fun.
I’m off to a good start, no?
