Alomst three years ago to the day I wrote the following…
Why are dress socks so unfunctional? Why are they so tall? Is there really any need to cover up the entire calf? Why don’t they make the elastic better? Am I the only one constanly pulling up these silly things all day? And what’s the deal with the really thin ones? The patterns? The ridges? Who in the world is out there coming up with these silly things? They’re ridiculous!
Today I said goodbye to dress socks for good.
No longer will I worry about matching my socks to my shoes and pants. No longer will I get home from work to find that my feet have turned blue from a lack of circulation (or from the die).
Dress socks be gone!
