I briefly mentioned this at the end of the last post, but Tonia discovered something great 2 blocks from our house—the local library.
Seriously though, we’ve been in there many times, Tanner is a book hound. Recently she discovered that not only do they loan out DVD’s, but their selection is amazing. Great movies abound. You can select up to 5 at a time and keep them for 3 days. I went in there yesterday to return some Scooby Doo and noticed a heap of movies that were currently in my Netflix Que.
I don’t know why I found this so cool. I’m sure most libraries have been doing this forever. I guess I just didn’t expect the selection to be so current and diverse. Go check out your library and see what they have to offer. I bet you’ll be surprised, and you’ll save a ton of money!
