One of the joys of working for a green company is seeing all of the innovative ways they deal with pest control and sanitation sans chemicals. In many ways it’s inspirational to see how creative we can be when we start looking for alternative methods. However today I was reminded of one of the downfalls—cleaning with vinegar.
I walked into the bathroom this morning to the sweet aroma of vinegar. It reeked like both the week before Easter growing up, and my Grandma Beulah’s kitchen. Sure, both of those memories are nice, but the smells were not. It’s nasty, and it begs the question, did you even know vinegar could be used as a cleaning tool? It never crossed my mind that it was a possibility. Perhaps there’s a reason it hasn’t taken off.
Here’s a list of vinegar cleaning tips should you be so inclined. Just be prepared for the mashed up faces of your friends and family when you switch.
