April went pretty quick, but looking back I sure packed in quite a bit. I definitely took my running up a notch in April. Tanner began his first season of machine pitch in Little League, and I began my first season of coaching (assistant to the traveling secretary). I’m already hooked, as long as the weather keeps getting better. Those brisk evenings at the ballpark are the only downside. The results of my physical—the first since 2008—were decent. All of the numbers went in the right direction, but I felt they should have been better. Guess I really am going to have to start watching what I eat in addition to simply exercising.
