Forgetting Sarah Marshall – 1/5 Hated It
Forget Forgetting Sarah Marshall. I can’t believe I lasted a full 15 minutes into this movie.
Vanilla Sky – 5/5 Loved It
Great original story. I love the non-linear methods of story-telling, and this one embedded a nice little message as well. One of Tom Cruise’s best.
Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium – 4/5 Really Liked It
Gotta say this is one of the best family films I’ve watched in awhile. It was brilliant for the eye and had a little something for kids and parents alike.
Charlie Bartlett – 3/5 Liked It
Decent little movie. I’m probably not the demographic they were aiming for, but I enjoyed it enough.
Traitor – 3/5 Liked It
Can’t quite put my finger on why this one didn’t move me to give it a 4/5 rating. There was just a little something missing. I still love me some Don Cheadle though.
Man on Wire – 4/5 Really Liked It
Hard to believe this is a true story, but it’s an incredible one… and told by the man himself—who seems to have lost a little of his mind since.
Burn After Reading – 3/5 Liked It
Good fun here. I probably need to see it again to get the full effect. It’s also one of those movies that doesn’t grab you instantly, but the longer it stews in your memory, the better it is. Brad Pitt was great.
Valkarie – 4/5 Really Liked It
Getting a higher rating mostly due to the fact that this was a well told true story. Really looking forward to getting a documentary on the subject now. I’ve never appreciated a Nazi until now.
Ghost Town- 4/5 Really Liked It
Ricky Gervais has impeccable comedic timing. I thoroughly enjoyed myself throughout this entire movie. Hope he starts putting out more movies as the leading man.
Seven Pounds- 5/5 Loved It
Man this one kept you thinking for quite some time, but there were just enough clues that I had it figured out about half way through. Superb acting and a thought provoking story. You just can’t go wrong when Will Smith is the lead.
An American Carol- 3/5 Liked It
This one will be a hit for all the Michael Moore haters. It was as lopsided to the right as his films are to the left. But I give them credit for some creativity and guts. I just don’t happen to agree with most of what they were preaching.

Interesting. My wife and her friend said that Vanilla Sky was, without a doubt, the worst movie they’ve ever seen.
I’ve heard nothing but good about Seven Pounds, so I may have to see that. And I’ve wanted to see An American Carol for a while.
